Client Example: Email Marketing Works

Yes, we all get a boatload of emails in our inboxes, but that speaks to the power of email marketing. It works. Well, it CAN work if it’s done right.

So then the next question is: how do you know you’re doing it right?

There’s no magic bullet here, but some things to consider.

Most important — your subject line.

That’s going to be the first thing that people see. So you want to make sure it’s something that is engaging, gets their attention and entices them to open the email.

Does the email contain an offer or a coupon?

Does the email contain some tip that the reader would find helpful?

Does the email contain a contest that you want them to enter?

Ultimately, what is going to entice someone to open your email blast?  Come up with that and put it in your subject line.

That’s what we did for our friends over at The Tiger’s Eye Skincare with their Valentine’s themed email blast. The subject line was “Fall in Love This Valentine’s with TTE’s Offers.”

Remember, this blast went out to people who are already existing TTE clients — folks who are devoted to the products and services that they offer.

In previous email blasts, similar offers that we’ve included have driven sales up — it reminds their devoted clients to come and buy more goodies for themselves.

With this Valentine’s example, we wanted to entice them to think about Lash Lifts and to treat themselves to one of TTE’s Signature Facials — the blast just went out yesterday, so we’ll get back to you on the results soon.
